About Ink Theory
At Ink Theory, our mission is simple: make merch memorable. We're a US-based custom merch company creating exclusive, custom-made apparel for fraternities, sororities, and student organizations. We move fast, with mockups delivered within 24 hours, and we care about every design that leaves our studio. Now we're looking for a creative, driven designer to help us keep raising the bar.
The Role
As a Graphic Designer at Ink Theory, you'll turn a client's rough idea into an original, print-ready design that people are proud to wear. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects, pitching your own concepts, and making sure every design feels current, campus-relevant, and one of a kind. If you're creative, hungry to prove yourself, and love college and Greek culture, this role is for you.
Shift: Night shift, aligned with US business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM US time)
Employment type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Create original, high-quality apparel designs for fraternities, sororities, and other student groups based on client requirements and brand guidelines, including T-shirts, pants, hoodies, hats, and other apparel.
Come up with your own design concepts and creative directions, rather than only executing briefs.
Prepare mockups, design proofs, and final files ready for printing and production, meeting our fast mockup turnaround.
Manage several design projects at once, balancing shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
Stay up to date with trends in fashion, college culture, and Greek life so our designs always feel current and relevant.
Keep the digital design library organized and up to date, including logos, templates, previous designs, and other assets.
Work closely with clients and internal teams to make sure designs match expectations and meet our quality standards.
Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team and the business.
Key Requirements
A strong portfolio of original design work; apparel, fashion, or branding work is a plus.
Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong vector illustration skills and close attention to detail.
Good understanding of color, typography, and apparel/textile design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you'll work directly with US-based clients and teammates.
Ability to follow instructions, adapt to different design styles, and respond promptly during working hours.
Strong teamwork, time management, and the ability to deliver on deadlines.
Freshers are welcome to apply, as long as you have the required skills.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with US college life and Greek life culture (rush, bid day, formals, philanthropy events, Greek Week, etc.).
Experience creating print-ready files and working with production specifications.
Prior experience in apparel design or branding.
Who You Are
Super creative, with the confidence to bring your own design ideas to the table.
Driven, with a real thirst to prove yourself and grow.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly.
Reliable and communicative, someone the team can count on during US hours.
