Video Editing & Graphic Design Intern

Indian Awaz Foundation (IAF) is looking for a creative, detail-oriented and proactive Video Editing & Graphic Design Intern to support our digital communications, social media content and storytelling initiatives.
The intern will edit Reels and short-form videos, design posters and social media creatives, and develop engaging visual content to showcase IAF's programmes, campaigns, events and community impact.
This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about video editing, graphic design and using creative skills to communicate meaningful social-impact work.
Key Responsibilities
Edit Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels and other short-form videos.
Design posters, event creatives, campaign graphics and social media posts.
Add subtitles, transitions, background music and other elements to improve video quality.
Transform raw footage, photographs and programme updates into engaging content.
Adapt creatives for different social media platforms and formats.
Collaborate with the communications team on creative ideas and content execution.
Maintain consistency in IAF's visual identity and communication style.
Deliver assigned videos and designs within agreed timelines.
Incorporate feedback and revisions when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Practical knowledge of video-editing tools such as CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop or similar graphic-design tools.
Understanding of Reels, subtitles, transitions and visual storytelling.
Creativity, attention to detail and good time management.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
A portfolio or samples of previous video edits and graphic designs are preferred.
Students, recent graduates and aspiring editors/designers with relevant skills are encouraged to apply. Practical ability and creativity are valued more than formal qualifications.
