Our teams place clients across outlets like CNBC, Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, and Barron's, with sector strength spanning accounting, consulting, compliance, and law.

What we’re looking for
A media relations practitioner with a few years of agency or in-house experience, ready to take on greater ownership of client work. The Senior Account Executive leverages a solid understanding of media relations techniques to develop and execute public relations initiatives that promote our financial services clients to their intended audiences across business, financial and trade media.
Relying on communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills, you will play an active role in day-to-day client liaison. You will also delegate work to and coach more junior professionals to ensure your team is delivering on its strategic priorities and that clients receive a consistently high level of attention and professional service. Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of three years of PR and communications experience, a keen interest in financial markets, and exposure to financial services clients, with prior agency experience strongly preferred.
What you’d do
Identify opportunities to build clients’ visibility in business, financial and trade media outlets that reach their target audiences.
Develop key messages, story angles and effective media pitches on timely news pegs, including market developments and economic news; send pitches to journalists and follow up to secure opportunities.
Manage multiple projects for multiple clients from concept to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, overseeing quality, and ensuring deadline adherence and timely communication regarding progress and key developments. When relevant, delegate to junior colleagues.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of your clients’ businesses, including strategy, investment approach, industry issues, products and services, key clients, and competitive landscape. Work with the team to proactively identify and address clients’ needs.
Ensure the thorough handling of all client service administration activities, including preparing client status and activity reports; taking note of all action items resulting from client liaison; following up on open and pending items; tracking for and compiling media coverage; and coordinating meeting and interview scheduling.
Develop high-quality written communication, including agendas, reports, client emails, press releases, pitches and bylined articles, with only general direction from your supervisor, and route materials through client compliance review as needed.
Contribute to the creation of strategic media plans to meet client objectives and work with the team to execute on agreed-upon objectives.
Leverage existing media relationships and develop new connections with key journalists across financial, business, trade and mainstream media outlets.
Assist junior professionals in resolving issues that arise with clients or journalists by explaining policies, standard procedures, and best practices. Serve as a mentor by modeling desired behavior and acting as a sounding board when creative input is needed.
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of professional skills; identify and pursue stretch goals.
Participate in initiatives that further Infinite’s vision and values among both internal and external audiences.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Infinite’s values (integrity, agility, compassion, and courage).
Why we want you
You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
You have a minimum of three years’ PR and communications work experience. Exposure to financial services clients and prior agency experience is strongly preferred.
You have a keen interest in financial markets, business and the news landscape.
You are highly curious, creative, and results-driven, with superior critical thinking, communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
You are professional, collegial and client service oriented.
You have a proven track record of successfully implementing a variety of creative and effective public relations initiatives that have generated measurable results for clients.
You are detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines; you are able to manage multiple projects.
You are skilled with media database software (Cision), monitoring tools and research tactics, including the responsible use of AI tools.
You have demonstrated strength as a writer; knowledge of AP style and the ability to proof, edit and coach others’ writing abilities.
