About the Role
This role is the head finance role leading all aspects of a Commercial Finance team, with the support of an extended IBH FP&O Finance team who together lead the end-to-end finance function for Irish Brand Homes.
As the right hand to the IBH Managing Director you will work with the Irish Brand Home teams to create winning strategic plans, ensuring that the Irish Brand Homes are delivering phenomenal business financial outcomes and a robust control environment.
To enable Irish Brand Homes to deliver sustainable growth and value creation by providing strong commercial Finance leadership, high-quality performance insight and effective financial challenge.
The role partners Brand Home Managing Director, the Irish Brand Homes Leadership Team and the Irish Brand Homes Financial Controller Manager, to translate strategy into financial priorities, assess business performance, develop credible forecasts and support informed commercial and investment decisions.
Through forward-looking analysis, constructive challenge and clear recommendations, the Senior Finance Manager ensures that leadership understands the financial consequences of its choices and takes timely action in response to risks and opportunities.
The role works jointly with the Head of Financial Control to ensure that business decisions and performance reporting are supported by accurate financial information. As part of the recommended monthly sign-off, the Commercial Finance Manager confirms the business outlook and performance narrative, while the Head of Financial Control confirms the completeness, accuracy and control integrity of the underlying financial position
Top Accountabilities
Owning Exemplary Business Performance:
Work alongside the Managing Director of Irish Brand Homes to get under the skin of performance, create focus on delivering business objectives and truly drive the business performance forward.

Business partnering with IBH LT to support and unlock delivery performance objectives and challenge where necessary.

Provide financial expertise to decision-making processes for the Irish Brand Homes teams cross-functionally.

Lead on the BPM process and the Strategic Pillars / plan. Ensuring the leadership team remains focused on delivering business objectives and KPIs, and the wider IBH business has a read on total performance.

End to end ownership of the finance function ensuring ‘front to back’ deep understanding of the business and how to find opportunities and solutions.
Strategy Formulation and Implementation:
Support the AOP process ensuring stretching and robust plans.
Support the medium and long-term strategic plans with the IBH MD and wider LT to ensure the future growth of IBH in line with business expectations.
Lead strategically important M&E, pricing and other projects as requested through providing leadership, challenge and support to drive great business outcomes.
Leadership of the commercial & financial management of key investment projects; CAPEX, OPEX, IBH structure.

Owning the strategy refresh process and timeline
Lead the review process with MD/FD and Region
Amazing Team:
Support the IBH FP&O team with dotted line from the IBH Financial Controller Manager.
Support the finance function performing at an optimal level.
Systems & Processes:
Support the overall digital and technology transformation agenda for IBH
Finance product owner for Commercial data & analytics projects
