About DocX Engine
DocX Engine is building private document intelligence for invoices and supplier quotations. The product is designed around self-hosted AI, private processing and source traceability for commercial documents.
The role
We are looking for a Systems & Security Engineer to help make our private AI platform reliable, secure and easy to operate. This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in Jordan.
What you will do
• Build and maintain secure Linux-based environments for application, AI and document-processing workloads.
• Improve deployment, configuration, monitoring, backup and incident-response practices.
• Support Docker/container workflows, networking, reverse proxies, authentication, secrets and access controls.
• Help define practical security baselines for private customer deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering on performance, resilience and operational readiness.
What we are looking for
• Strong Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/containers, reverse proxies, TLS, authentication and secrets management.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, backups, hardening and incident troubleshooting.
• A security-first mindset and clear documentation habits.
• Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, on-prem deployments or enterprise application operations is a strong advantage.
