eCommerce Optimization Specialist (Amazon Focus)

We’re looking for an eCommerce Optimization Specialist to work remotely with Phillips Safety, a U.S.-based company specializing in safety products and protective equipment, including safety eyewear, laser safety glasses, radiation protection products, welding equipment, and other specialized safety solutions.
We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with product listings, SEO, and digital marketing. The main focus of this role is to improve our presence on Amazon by optimizing product content, increasing visibility, and helping drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, review, and optimize Amazon product listings, including titles, bullet points, descriptions, and keywords.
Research and apply Amazon SEO best practices.
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
Create and manage Amazon A+ Content and Brand Stores.
Review product specifications, variations, and technical information to ensure accuracy.
Collaborate on product images, infographics, and other marketing content.
Monitor listing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify and resolve product listing issues.
Additional Activities:
Track and analyze sales, traffic, conversion rates, content performance, and promotional results.
Monitor performance of new launches, hero products, and priority SKUs.
Prepare monthly performance reports and provide actionable recommendations.
Support business growth through data-driven insights.
May also assist with creating, updating, and optimizing product listings in WordPress/WooCommerce as needed.
Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related field.
Previous experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or Amazon marketplace management.
Experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and product listing optimization.
Advanced/fluent English — excellent written and spoken English is a must.
Ability to write clear, natural, and professional content following American English standards.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have:
Experience managing large product catalogs and technical product information.
Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT.
Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and Amazon marketplace best practices.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop for editing product images and creating visual content.
Previous experience with WordPress/WooCommerce product listing is appreciated.
Work Arrangement:
💻 100% Remote
⏱️ Freelance: 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on workload and business needs.
🇺🇸 As you’ll be working with a U.S.-based company, English will be used daily. You should feel confident communicating professionally and creating, reviewing, and optimizing written content in English.
