Role Description The IT Systems Administrator role at Kanchan Jyoti Healthcare is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and permissions, and installing or updating software and security patches. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring data integrity and system availability, and maintaining secure backup and recovery procedures. The IT Systems Administrator will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical problems, implement security best practices, and support IT needs for consulting projects and lab setups.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong System Administration and Information Technology skills, including experience with operating systems, servers, and user management.
Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Network Security knowledge, including firewalls, antivirus tools, access control, and basic security compliance practices.
Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences environments, including GxP or regulated systems, is beneficial.
Comfort working in a remote, part-time setting, with strong communication, time management, and documentation skills.
Relevant education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Experience with cloud-based services, backup solutions, and basic virtualization or remote access tools is an advantage.
