Accounting Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounting Associate handles general ledger, month end entries, balance sheets, reconciliations, and data entry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Handles and completes general ledger, month end entries, balance sheets, reconciliations, and data entry.
Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting (credit, debit), Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work with detail and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly performs computer work and sits.
Occasionally walks and stands.
Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.
