Field Services Engineer

Hiring: Field Service Engineer
Experience: 5–10 Years
Location: Assam – TSAT
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, ECE, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related fields
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer with strong hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of complex industrial, electronic or automated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission and maintain complex equipment at customer sites
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical and electromechanical systems
Diagnose equipment alarms, errors and downtime issues
Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and equipment documentation
Replace failed components and perform equipment repairs
Support equipment calibration, alignment and functional checks
Maintain service records and equipment status reports
Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal technical teams
Support equipment installation, relocation and commissioning
Perform structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Preferred Experience
Candidates with hands-on experience in any of the following domains are encouraged to apply:
PCB Manufacturing | SMT Production Lines | EMS | Semiconductor Manufacturing | Industrial Automation | Robotics | Automated Manufacturing | Electronics Manufacturing | Complex Electronic Systems | Production Equipment
Experience with SMT machines, automated production equipment, industrial machinery, robotics, electronic systems or other complex equipment will be an advantage.
Skills Required
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Hands-on equipment maintenance experience
Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics
Good understanding of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
Willingness to work at customer locations
