Vice-President, Investment Portfolio

Role Description
The Vice-President, Investment Portfolio is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing Kariba Ventures’ investment portfolio. This role leads portfolio strategy, monitors performance, and drives value creation across existing and prospective investments. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis and due diligence, and developing long-term investment strategies aligned with firm objectives. The Vice-President will collaborate with leadership, finance teams, and external partners to manage risk, prepare investment reports, and communicate portfolio insights to stakeholders. This position also contributes to ongoing refinement of investment processes and supports decision-making for capital allocation.
Qualifications
Strong background in Investment Management and hands-on experience managing diverse Investments.
Solid grounding in Finance, including financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio performance analysis.
Demonstrated experience conducting rigorous Due Diligence on potential investments and partners.
Proven ability to design and implement effective Investment Strategies that balance growth and risk.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
Leadership experience managing cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with senior executives.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong self-management, organization, and time-management skills.
