Construction Litigation Associate (4-10 years)

Ana Bird Legal Search is recruiting an experienced Construction Litigation Associate for a boutique litigation firm in Boca Raton, Florida. What Makes This Opportunity Different
Competitive Base Salary: $145,000 to $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
1,400 to 1,500 annual billable hours.
Additional Compensation: Guaranteed bonuses for billable hours above 1,500, plus potential discretionary bonuses.
Hybrid schedule with approximately two office days per week initially.
After six months, strong performers may transition to a primarily remote arrangement, with in-person collaboration a few times per month.

Responsibilities
Independently manage construction and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Develop case strategy and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, participate in mediations, and negotiate settlements.
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Collaborate with experienced partners on complex construction and business disputes.
Qualifications
Active Florida Bar admission required.
4 to 10 years of litigation experience required.
Substantial construction litigation experience required.
Strong commercial litigation experience highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Strong academic credentials and consistent professional employment history.
Confident, personable, collaborative, and comfortable with direct client interaction.
Willingness to maintain an in-person connection with the Boca Raton team.
