Job Description
A bit about this role:
Devoted is growing fast. We expect to hire thousands of people over the next two years as we expand our health plan, launch new products, and enter new markets. Our sales, network, and business teams are at the center of that growth, and we need a senior recruiter who can help us build them.
As Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for GTM & Professional Recruiting, reporting to the VP of Talent Acquisition, you will be a senior individual contributor who goes deep on our sales and network functions, along with business-focused roles across corporate and product. You will learn these businesses inside and out, become a trusted advisor to their leaders, and personally own searches from intake to close. As our GTM and professional hiring grows, this role may expand to lead a small team of recruiters, but coming in, your focus will be on doing the work and doing it exceptionally well. You will thrive here if you bring a sense of humor, a sense of urgency, real grit, and comfort with a constantly changing set of priorities. If you have helped a tech-enabled healthcare company scale through hyper-growth and loved (almost) every minute of it, we would love to meet you.
Required skills and experience:
10+ years of progressive, full life-cycle talent acquisition experience in high-growth organizations, including time in a hyper-growth, tech-enabled healthcare environment (such as health tech, digital health, health plans, or value-based care).
Deep experience recruiting for sales and go-to-market roles, plus breadth across business-focused corporate and product roles, from individual contributors to senior leaders.
A proven track record of delivering on aggressive, high-volume hiring plans in a fast-growth company.
A hands-on recruiter who also thinks strategically, with strong executive presence and the ability to use data to advise, influence, and push back with senior leaders.
Experience working in an enterprise applicant tracking system, such as Workday Recruiting.
Desired skills and experience:
Experience recruiting for provider network roles (such as network development, contracting, and provider relations), or for Medicare Advantage, health insurance, or commercial insurance organizations.
Experience scaling sales teams, including licensed sales agents and seasonal hiring ramps, and hands-on use of AI recruiting tools such as BrightHire.
Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:
Own your search portfolio: Manage a large and varied set of requisitions across sales, network, corporate, and product, from individual contributors to senior leaders. Prioritize ruthlessly and keep hiring on pace with business needs.
Find and close great talent: Proactively source, assess, and close top talent, with a particular eye toward hard-to-find sales and network profiles. Build pipelines before requisitions open.
Be a strategic partner: Partner with division leaders and hiring managers on hiring strategies for best-in-class teams, from role definition and market mapping to interview design and closing.
Learn the business: Go deep on how our sales and network teams operate: the roles, the talent markets, what great looks like, and how those teams are evolving as we grow.
Bring the data: Use pipeline and funnel metrics to spot risks early, run effective hiring reviews, and give leaders clear, honest insight into progress.
Raise the bar: Champion structured interviewing, consistent evaluation, and a candidate experience that reflects how we treat our members, using tools like Workday, BrightHire, and AI-powered workflows in partnership with TA Operations.
Scale for what is next: Help build the recruiting approach for new product lines, including commercial expansion and seasonal sales surges around Medicare enrollment periods, and help shape how GTM and professional recruiting is structured as the team grows.
Salary Range: $110,000-160,000
