Role Description The Web Development Intern role is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of client websites and web applications. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with front-end implementation, basic back-end integrations, updating content and layouts, testing site functionality, and troubleshooting issues under the guidance of senior developers. The intern will collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing team members to translate business requirements into user-friendly web experiences. This role also involves documenting development work, learning and applying best practices in responsive design and performance optimization, and staying current with web technologies relevant to agency projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Web Development with a basic understanding of both Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development.
Candidates should possess skills in Web Design, including responsive layouts, UI/UX fundamentals, and browser compatibility considerations.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interpret client requirements.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) is beneficial.
Exposure to server-side technologies or databases (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python, MySQL, or MongoDB) is an advantage.
Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and work independently in a remote environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
