Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban for a Barista and Service person. The role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, as well as light food items in line with café standards and recipes. The team member will greet guests, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and ensure a clean and organized service area and seating space. Daily tasks include operating coffee machines and other equipment, managing basic cash or POS transactions, and supporting opening and closing procedures. The person in this role will work closely with colleagues to maintain fast, friendly service and a positive atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills to create a friendly and respectful guest experience.
Candidates should possess barista skills, including beverage preparation and basic knowledge of coffee equipment and recipes.
Candidates should possess clear communication skills to take orders accurately and coordinate with team members.
Candidates should possess food preparation skills for simple café dishes and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Basic math and POS handling skills for billing and cash management.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by café operations.
