Role Description This is a remote, contract role for Spanish Interpreters with a 95% guaranteed occupancy. Spanish Interpreters will provide high-quality real-time interpretation services for clients via phone, video, or other virtual platforms, ensuring clear and accurate communication between Spanish and English speakers. Daily responsibilities include conducting medical, business, and general interpretation sessions, adhering to confidentiality standards, and maintaining professional conduct across all interactions. The role also involves accurately conveying tone and intent, following client-specific protocols, documenting sessions when required, and collaborating with the operations team to manage schedules and availability. Interpreters are expected to maintain reliable connectivity and be prepared to handle a high volume of assignments throughout their contracted hours.
Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled Medical Interpreter fluent in Spanish and English for a 100% remote position. The role involves providing accurate and timely interpretation, enabling effective communication between patients and healthcare providers. Additional responsibilities include performing simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, ensuring proper use of medical terminology, and facilitating clear and culturally appropriate communication in medical settings.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 6 months- 3 years of professional interpretation experience
(this is a must, Also make sure you add your Interpretation Experience in your resume to be considered )
Specialization: Proven expertise in Medical or Legal sectors
Flexibility: Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments.
Professionalism: High level of listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
