About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description TroyBelt provides an engineered nylon strap solution designed to prevent dangerous falling fronds from Royal Palms, helping protect people, vehicles, landscaping, and property. By securing frond collars, TroyBelt reduces the need for daily grounds inspections and clean-up, allowing maintenance teams to work on predictable schedules. The product offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional palm trimming, which does not fully eliminate falling frond risks. TroyBelt is recognized and approved by insurance companies as a risk-reduction measure that can lower property damage premiums. Municipalities, resorts, car dealers, shopping centers, and property management companies rely on TroyBelt to increase safety and reduce maintenance costs.
Role Description The Commission Sales Associate is a full-time remote role responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting TroyBelt solutions to commercial and municipal clients. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying leads, conducting virtual product presentations, and following up with prospects to close sales. The associate will build and maintain relationships with property managers, landscapers, municipal buyers, and other decision-makers, while managing a sales pipeline using CRM tools. Additional responsibilities include preparing quotes, negotiating terms within company guidelines, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing. The role is commission-based, with performance directly tied to sales results, and requires consistent outreach, timely communication, and ongoing market research to expand TroyBelt’s customer base.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, able to work independently, meet sales targets, and adapt quickly to feedback and changing market needs.
Basic understanding of property maintenance, landscaping, or insurance-related risk reduction is beneficial but not required.
Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional education in business or related fields is an advantage.
