Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will handle labor and employment law matters, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, analyzing case law and statutes, and preparing legal memoranda and opinions. The role involves providing legal advice to clients, participating in negotiations, and supporting litigation strategy from case intake through resolution. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with supervising attorneys, communicate regularly with clients, and manage deadlines and case files in an organized, efficient manner.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Law and Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to apply these principles to client matters.
Proficiency in providing Legal Advice, including issue spotting, risk assessment, and clear communication of options.
Solid Research skills, including case law, statutory, and regulatory research using legal databases.
Effective Negotiation skills for settlement discussions, client advocacy, and dispute resolution.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong legal drafting and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in employment law or civil litigation is preferred, along with strong professional ethics and client service orientation.
