Job Description
The Senior Director, CMS Practice Lead, Global Marketing Services is responsible for driving the growth and development of the Commercial and Money Movement Solutions practice within Marketing Services globally.
This individual will establish and maintain relationships across Visa Commercial Solutions, Visa Direct and Visa Government Solutions product, sales and marketing organizations, connecting global priorities with regional opportunities and capabilities. The role will support regional Marketing Services teams in achieving CMS revenue goals by helping identify whitespace opportunities, commercialize relevant solutions and equip teams with the materials, training and insights required to take those solutions to market.
The role requires a commercially minded, highly collaborative leader who can navigate a complex global organization, translate data and product capabilities into actionable growth strategies, and build alignment across global and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
CMS Practice Strategy and Growth
Lead the global strategy and operating agenda for the Marketing Services CMS practice across Visa Commercial Solutions, Visa Direct and Visa Government Solutions
Partner with regional Marketing Services teams to support delivery against annual CMS revenue and pipeline goals
Translate CMS product priorities, regional client needs and Marketing Services capabilities into a clear global growth plan
Contribute to annual operating planning, revenue forecasting and pipeline reporting to monitor the health of the CMS business and identify areas requiring additional focus
Identify client-level whitespace, lead-generation opportunities and priority markets using CMS sales, client and funding data
Establish clear priorities and operating cadences across global and regional CMS stakeholders
Solution Commercialization and Sales Enablement
Partner with CMS product, sales and marketing teams to develop and commercialize scalable Marketing Services solutions across Visa Commercial Solutions, Visa Direct and Visa Government Solutions
Assess the maturity and market readiness of proposed solutions and prioritize opportunities based on client demand, revenue potential and regional applicability
Create and maintain sales plays, playbooks, case studies and other materials that clearly articulate the client need, Marketing Services solution, proof points, funding approach and seller call to action
Adapt global propositions and enablement materials to reflect regional market dynamics, client needs and existing capabilities
Develop repeatable commercialization approaches that can be applied across CMS products, segments and markets
Coordinate the rollout of new and existing CMS solutions through internal training, communications and relevant seller and Client Marketer forums
Pipeline, Data and Performance
Work with regional teams, Finance and Analytics partners to consolidate and monitor CMS revenue and pipeline performance
Use client, project, pipeline and funding data to identify growth opportunities and inform prioritization
Develop client-level opportunity maps that connect priority prospects with the most relevant CMS solutions and sales plays
Track solution adoption, lead generation and regional engagement to evaluate the effectiveness of commercialization and enablement activities
Maintain clear reporting for senior Marketing Services and CMS stakeholders on business performance, opportunities, risks and required decisions
Global Stakeholder Leadership
Serve as the primary Global Marketing Services partner for CMS product, sales and marketing stakeholders
Build strong working relationships across Visa Commercial Solutions, Visa Direct, Visa Government Solutions and regional Marketing Services teams
Facilitate regular forums with regional CMS leads to share priorities, surface market needs, coordinate activity and identify opportunities for collaboration
Represent Marketing Services requirements in CMS product and commercialization discussions, while ensuring regional teams have visibility into relevant product priorities and solutions
Clarify roles, ownership and handoffs across global, product and regional teams to support consistent execution
Influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across teams with differing priorities, resources and reporting structures
Team and Budget Management
Lead, coach and develop direct reports, establishing clear priorities, expectations and development plans
Manage the global CMS Marketing Services budget and direct funding toward the highest-priority growth, commercialization and enablement initiatives
Oversee external agency or vendor support where required, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard
Promote a collaborative, accountable and results-oriented working environment across the broader CMS stakeholder network
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.
Experience in knowledge management and content development.
Experience in managing projects and time efficiently.
Experience in introducing innovative ideas and processes.
Experience in relationship management with key stakeholders and peers.
Experience in adapting to shifting priorities and challenges.
Experience in taking initiative and working independently.
Experience in using communication skills to inspire, influence, and motivate others.
Preferred Qualifications
15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience.
Experience in marketing, commercialization, business development, sales enablement, strategy or a related discipline
Experience working within payments, financial services, B2B products or another complex global business preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop and commercialize client-focused solutions, propositions or sales strategies
Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, with experience using revenue, pipeline and client data to identify opportunities and guide prioritization
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across global and regional teams in a highly matrixed organization
Excellent relationship-management and influencing skills, including the ability to build alignment without direct authority
Strong executive presence and written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear recommendations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, establish effective operating structures and drive work forward with purpose and urgency
People-management experience, with a strong track record of coaching and developing talent
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Ability to use current AI tools and resources to improve analysis, productivity and the development of client and seller materials
Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $208,000.00 to $ 333,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
