Data Insights Analys (Remote, Entry-Level)

Role Description The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) is a part-time role focused on turning community, program, and engagement data into clear insights that support AI in NH’s mission. On a day-to-day basis, the analyst will collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from events, surveys, online platforms, and partner initiatives. The role includes building basic dashboards or reports, summarizing trends, and helping identify opportunities to improve outreach, programming, and educational resources. The analyst will collaborate with team members to translate findings into actionable recommendations and accessible visuals or summaries for non-technical audiences. This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling, suitable for candidates early in their data career who are eager to learn and grow in a mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge of data analytics methods.
Basic understanding of statistics and comfort interpreting quantitative results.
Experience or coursework in data modeling and organizing data for analysis and reporting.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in accessible ways.
Interest in artificial intelligence, technology ethics, and community-focused initiatives.
Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) or entry-level data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R for analysis) is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
Relevant coursework or training in data science, statistics, social science research, computer science, or related fields; formal degree or equivalent experience welcomed.
