Licensed Audit Consultant (Addis Ababa)

We are seeking an experienced, licensed auditor in Addis Ababa for a confidential financial review engagement.
The consultant will review accounting records, reconcile financial information to supporting documents, assess the completeness and consistency of records, and prepare a clear written report of findings.
Responsibilities
Review accounting records, financial statements, ledgers, and supporting documents
Reconcile transactions and account balances across available records
Assess recordkeeping practices and identify missing or inconsistent information
Document procedures performed, findings, and limitations
Prepare a concise report and discuss findings with the engagement team
Qualifications
Current Ethiopian audit license in good standing
Demonstrated experience in audit, assurance, or forensic financial review work
Strong skills in reconciliations, transaction testing, and analysis of supporting documents
Excellent written reporting and professional judgment
Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality
Addis Ababa-based and available for a project-based engagement
Ability to speak both English and Amharic
