Role Description The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining busduct and related product designs, ensuring alignment with mechanical and electrical requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and procurement. The role involves reviewing customer specifications, providing design inputs for quotations, and supporting product customization and optimization for cost, performance, and manufacturability. The Design Engineer will also participate in design reviews, support testing and validation activities, and assist in resolving engineering issues during manufacturing and installation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial or power distribution components.
Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, structural integrity, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to busducts, power distribution, and safety standards.
Benefit from experience with standards and codes for electrical power systems and industrial equipment.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design optimization and issue resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Prior experience in busducts, switchgear, or power distribution products is an advantage.
