Company Description:
CipherTEA is a zero‑knowledge data security platform that protects sensitive data at the application layer. We help companies shrink breach blast radius, secure individual fields, and automate key management without exposing plaintext to our platform.
We’ve built the product, launched, onboarded early users, and validated strong demand from security leaders. Now we’re looking for a GTM‑driven co‑founder who can help us scale customer acquisition and build a repeatable sales motion.
Who we’re looking for
Someone who understands the security landscape and how AI‑driven threats are evolving
Strong GTM instincts with experience selling technical products (security, devtools, SaaS)
Ability to build outbound motion, refine ICP, and close early pilots
Comfortable owning the sales funnel end‑to‑end: prospecting, qualification, demos, negotiation
Can translate complex technical value (zero‑knowledge, field‑level encryption, access control) into clear business outcomes
Believes in the mission and wants to help shape CipherTEA’s commercial strategy from the ground up
Experience selling technical products to developers, security leaders, or compliance stakeholders is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of data security, encryption, or adjacent cloud/security solutions is a strong plus.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, early-stage startup environment, with ownership mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms.
Nice to have - Previous co-founder, founding team, or early-stage startup experience is advantageous.
