Job Title: Fleet & Dispatch Coordinator/Specialist
Location: City of Industry, CA
Annual Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000 + Annual Performance Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a Fleet & Dispatch Coordinator to support the daily operations of our company-operated trucking fleet. This role will assist with driver scheduling, dispatch coordination, route planning, fleet tracking, and transportation compliance.
What You'll Do:
Assist with daily dispatch, driver schedules, routes, and load assignments.
Coordinate with drivers to support on-time pickups and deliveries.
Monitor fleet activity, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle availability.
Assist with maintenance scheduling, inspections, and repair coordination.
Maintain driver and vehicle records and support DOT/FMCSA compliance.
Help resolve routine operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, and schedule changes.
Track basic transportation and fleet performance metrics.
Communicate with drivers and operations teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support transportation managers with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
About You:
1–2 years of experience in trucking, dispatch, fleet, logistics, or transportation operations preferred.
Basic understanding of trucking dispatch, routing, and driver scheduling.
Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Comfortable working with drivers and cross-functional operations teams.
Experience with GPS/telematics or dispatch software is preferred.
