Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Dell Boomi Developer. The Dell Boomi Developer will design, develop, test, and deploy integrations between cloud and on-premises applications using Dell Boomi AtomSphere. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing integration requirements, building and configuring integration processes, managing connectors and data mappings, and troubleshooting issues in existing integrations. The role involves collaborating with business analysts, architects, and other developers to ensure integrations are efficient, maintainable, and secure. The developer will also document technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and support performance tuning and production monitoring.
Qualifications
Strong experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere, including process creation, connectors, mappings, and error handling.
Hands-on skills in integration design and development across APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and common data formats such as XML and JSON.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and related technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or other SaaS applications) relevant to integration scenarios.
Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases, and SQL for working with source and target systems.
Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into integration specifications, and create clear documentation.
Experience with version control and collaborative development practices using tools such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
Prior experience with other integration platforms or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
