About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Psyon is a new telehealth psychiatry practice in Colorado. This is our first operations hire. You'll work directly with the founding psychiatrist and help decide how the practice runs as it grows.
What you'll do:
Insurance and credentialing (your first priority)
Enroll the practice with additional insurance plans and see each application through to an active contract
Add new clinicians to our existing payer contracts as they join (CAQH, Medicare, commercial plans)
Track re-credentialing and revalidation dates so nothing lapses
Patient support
Return patient calls and messages
Assist with prior authorizations, lab coordination
Prepare refill requests under physician-signed protocols
Practice operations
Research the rules and business requirements the practice has to meet, including employment law, local business taxes and healthcare compliance, and bring clear summaries for decisions
Help prepare employment paperwork, and onboard and train new staff
Identify local therapy and primary care practices for referral relationships
Take on other projects as the practice grows. The role will expand with you.
What we're looking for:
Required
2+ years in a medical or behavioral health practice
Hands-on payer enrollment or credentialing experience (CAQH, PECOS, commercial plan applications)
A clear, warm phone manner with patients
You work independently and follow up until a task is actually done
A private workspace and reliable internet
Preferred
Medical assistant training or experience
Behavioral health experience
Experience in a small or startup practice
Details
Pay: $30/hour
Schedule: full-time, weekday business hours, Mountain Time
Location: fully remote, open to Colorado residents
