About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description PLOMID is an AI-native universal database platform built to support operational, analytical, AI, and edge workloads within a single logical database. It offers one primary SQL language and multiple specialized physical engines, unifying OLTP, OLAP, HTAP, vector, search, graph, time-series, spatial, streaming, edge/offline, and global multi-region capabilities in one coherent data layer. The platform is built from first principles with a fully owned kernel, emphasizing performance, reliability, and flexibility. Designed for humans, software, and AI agents, PLOMID can be deployed from embedded and edge environments to large-scale global infrastructure, serving as the data foundation for the next generation of software.

Day-to-day tasks include developing back-end features, optimizing performance across different data engines, writing clean and maintainable code, and participating in code reviews. The role also involves collaborating with product and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical documentation and architecture discussions.
