About The Role
A Full Renovation – Home Improvement is hiring a Data Validation Analyst to support data-quality assessment, validation rules, exception analysis, and remediation tracking. The role is fully remote within the United States and is designed for someone who values accurate work, clear documentation, and dependable follow-through.
Consistent documentation is an important part of the position. Notes, trackers, and files should be maintained in a way that supports review, follow-up, and continuity when work passes between people or teams.
You will use common digital workplace tools to organize assignments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with others. Procedures may evolve over time, so part of the role is learning updated requirements and applying them consistently once they are approved.
The work supports home improvement projects, including administrative follow-up, job records, estimating support, scheduling, and customer communication as relevant to the position.
Key Responsibilities
Apply documented validation rules and investigate records that fail expected checks.
Document quality issues with enough detail for owners to reproduce and resolve them.
Summarize recurring defect types and help identify likely upstream process causes.
Maintain data-quality trackers, issue logs, and supporting evidence.
Work with stakeholders to clarify definitions when validation rules are ambiguous.
Prepare concise reporting on open issues, completed remediation, and quality trends.
Qualifications
Comfort working with repetitive quality checks without losing concentration.
Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to learn internal data definitions and source-system behavior.
Education or experience appropriate to an early-career analytical or quality role.
Foundational SQL or spreadsheet skills appropriate to validation and exception analysis.
You will be expected to balance productivity with accuracy and to maintain professional communication throughout the workday.
