THE ROLE
ROLE: Senior SAP Procurement & Inventory Consultant (SAP MM/IM)
Contract Opportunity | 100% remote
We are seeking a Senior SAP Procurement & Inventory Consultant to lead an assessment and optimization initiative for a client that is not realizing the expected value from its SAP investment.
The ideal candidate will operate independently, conducting a comprehensive gap analysis of procurement, inventory management, and related business processes while identifying opportunities for improvement through SAP configuration, process optimization, best practices, and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assess current SAP Procurement (MM) and Inventory Management processes and configurations.
Perform fit-gap analysis and identify root causes of operational inefficiencies.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and gather business requirements.
Recommend and implement configuration, process, and governance improvements.
Drive adoption of SAP best practices and future-state operating models.
Develop actionable roadmaps, quick wins, and long-term transformation recommendations.
Qualifications
10+ years of SAP MM and Inventory Management experience.
Proven success in SAP optimization, remediation, or transformation engagements.
Deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain processes.
Strong business process analysis, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Preferred: SAP S/4HANA, WM/EWM, Ariba, or broader Supply Chain transformation experience.
