Role Description The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that interface with FolioX’s autonomous logistics and dispatch systems. This full-time remote role includes developing new features, improving app performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience for logistics operators and stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with product and backend teams, implementing secure and reliable integrations, writing clean and testable code, and troubleshooting issues across devices and OS versions. The developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help refine best practices for mobile development within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Qualifications
Experience in Mobile Application Development and building production-grade Mobile Applications for iOS or cross-platform environments.
Strong Application Development skills, including designing scalable app architecture and integrating with APIs and backend services.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns, with the ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
Hands-on iOS Development experience using Swift and/or Objective-C, plus familiarity with Apple’s frameworks, tooling, and App Store processes.
Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and secure data handling.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have: Experience with AI-driven or data-intensive applications, logistics or supply chain domains, and cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
