Role Description The IELTS Trainer will deliver high-quality IELTS preparation classes to learners, focusing on Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing lesson plans, conducting interactive classroom and online sessions, assessing learner performance, providing structured feedback, and tracking progress toward target band scores. The role also involves creating and updating practice materials, conducting mock tests, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and outcomes. This is a part-time role based in Madurai with a hybrid work model, combining on-site teaching with some work-from-home flexibility. The trainer is expected to coordinate with the academic team to ensure consistent standards and an engaging learning experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong instructional skills, including English Teaching and Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Candidates should possess solid assessment and exam preparation skills, including IELTS and general Teaching experience.
Candidates should possess effective planning abilities, including Lesson Planning and curriculum organization.
Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to model high-level language use.
Prior experience in IELTS training or test preparation for international exams is highly beneficial.
Relevant certification or degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to motivate diverse learners.
Comfort with using digital tools and online platforms for hybrid teaching and learning.
