Solution Architect(Front-End & Storefront)
What You Will Be Doing
Understand the business needs of our partners and sales team, and analyze requirements related to e-commerce storefronts and digital experiences — going beyond surface needs to uncover the underlying business drivers.
Provide expert pre-sales technical support, guiding partners and sales teams in understanding how our front-end platform works — theming, customization, checkout, and headless capabilities — and how each maps to the customer's architectural goals.
Own the translation of enterprise business requirements into storefront architectures — themes, custom components, headless setups, rendering/caching strategy, and third-party front-end services — and define the most efficient execution path.
Attend customer meetings and deliver technical content and presentations, leading technical discussions with stakeholders from C-level executives to front-end engineering teams.
Architect complex storefront migrations and front-end modernizations — legacy theme → custom build, template-driven → headless — with 100% fidelity to existing functionality, SEO, accessibility, and customer experience. Own the technical design of custom checkouts, personalization layers, and front-end integrations (headless CMS, analytics, search, 3PL tracking, marketing tools).
Define and oversee the onboarding and delivery framework for Key Accounts — establishing milestones, managing cross-functional dependencies, and resolving blockers to keep launches on track.
Ensure seamless post-launch handoff to Merchant Success and Support teams, codifying architecture decisions and remaining the escalation point for complex front-end issues.
Stay current on the front-end ecosystem — rendering strategies, framework evolution, Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards, headless commerce trends — align them with the company's mission, and feed field insights back into product and engineering.
Who We Are Looking For
University graduate with at least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales, or technical project management — preferably in the e-commerce/SaaS industry (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce).
Hands-on front-end engineering is non-negotiable. You write and review real code — JavaScript/TypeScript plus a modern framework (React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt, or a commerce-native one such as Hydrogen or Catalyst). You can prototype in the framework, not just talk about it, and you earn the trust of customers' engineering teams by being in the code with them.
Proven track record of shipping complex, high-traffic storefronts and custom front-end builds — custom checkouts, theme development, personalization, and headless storefronts — at production scale.
Deep technical fluency in REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, HTML/CSS, templating languages (Liquid/Stencil), rendering patterns (SSR/SSG/ISR and edge rendering), performance optimization and Core Web Vitals attribution, accessibility (WCAG), DNS, and data mapping.
Strong command of component architecture, design systems, and scalable front-end patterns — comfortable defining delivery frameworks that enable other engineers to execute.
Structured thinking and exceptional technical writing skills — from technical deep-dives to executive-level summaries.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, and an adaptive, solution-oriented mindset that thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
High attention to detail with strong organization and coordination skills to manage multiple priorities; genuine curiosity about front-end technology and new product developments.
Comfortable working in a global, multi-time-zone environment.
