Position: Mechanical Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$125/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
Write design problems based on professional experience, including loads, constraints, and tolerances.
Grade AI model analysis for accuracy in free body diagrams, failure modes, and safety factors.
Identify discrepancies between model calculations and practical applications, considering manufacturability and thermal expansion.
Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with design or analysis experience.
Clear written communication skills for explaining reasoning.
Comfort with ambiguous tasks and ability to flag unclear instructions.
