About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We are looking for a highly capable Senior SDET who is just as comfortable executing deep functional testing as they are architecting automation frameworks. In this role, you will lead our digital assurance strategies while getting your hands dirty in the trenches—actively analyzing requirements, testing web and API platforms, finding edge-case defects, and ensuring a flawless user experience tailored to the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Risk Identification: Deeply read and interpret requirements, perform gap analysis, ask clarifying questions, assess complexity, and track dependencies. Proactively identify project risks and define positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
Hands-On Functional & Integration Testing: Actively perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing. Specialize in end-to-end UI, API, and DB integration testing to identify defects before they reach production.
API & Database Validation: Validate RESTful APIs (including strict checks on authorization and authentication, payloads, and status codes) and leverage your strong understanding of SQL Databases to ensure data integrity across the platform.
Required Qualifications
Experience & Testing Acumen: 7+ years in Quality Engineering/SDET roles. Well-versed in all fundamental testing concepts with a proven track record of applying them effectively in daily tasks.
Domain Expertise: Good knowledge of the Healthcare domain, enabling a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
Core Automation: Deep, hands-on experience with the Cypress tool for UI automation (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Technical Stack: Strong experience with REST APIs, SQL Databases, and basic knowledge of Cloud concepts.
Communication: Strong communication and clarification skills to bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.
Who You Are
A "Tester" First: You love finding bugs, understanding complex integrations, and don't believe automation replaces the need for smart, exploratory testing.
Quality Owner: You take accountability for the digital assurance of the features your team ships, from sprint kickoff to release readiness.
Self-Driven: You proactively identify gaps in test coverage, clarify ambiguous requirements, and fix them without waiting for direction
