Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contract 1099 – Early Intervention in Illinois
Salary: $50 – $60 per billable hour.
Speech and Me LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. Speech and Me LLC is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated SLP who believes that the best therapy happens on the living room floor, at the snack table, and in the heart of a child’s daily routine.

Key Responsibilities
Evaluate & Inspire: Conduct developmental screenings and comprehensive evaluations for children aged 0–3.
Natural Environment Therapy: Deliver sessions where children are most comfortable—homes, daycares, or community settings.
Family Coaching: Collaborate with caregivers to integrate speech and language strategies into their existing daily routines.
Clinical Excellence: Maintain timely documentation in compliance with EI standards and develop individualized, family-centered treatment plans.
Leadership: Provide thoughtful supervision to SLPAs within our team.
Requirements
Licensure: Must hold a valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
Mobility: Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel to client locations.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse families from all walks of life.
