Role Overview
You will serve as the Solution Architecture anchor for an AI-led migration programme, responsible for
defining the High-Level Solution Architecture (HLSA) for applications migrating from AWS cloud-native
ecosystems to Microsoft Azure.
Leveraging Claude Code and AI-assisted engineering workflows, you will analyse existing applications,
infrastructure, and service integrations to rapidly generate architecture context, migration blueprints, and
governance-ready documentation.
Your role bridges AI-driven engineering pods and enterprise architecture governance, ensuring the
migration approach is technically sound, scalable, secure, and aligned with platform standards.
You will define the architectural direction upfront, guide the AI orchestration pods, and take solution
designs through the Technical Design Authority (TDA) / Architecture Governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
AI-Assisted Architecture Discovery
Use Claude Code and agentic tooling to analyse existing AWS applications, repositories, IaC,
and runtime integrations.
Generate context maps, dependency graphs, and service interaction models of the current
architecture.
Identify cloud-native service dependencies (Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SNS/SQS, API
Gateway, etc.).
High-Level Solution Architecture (HLSA)
Produce migration-ready HLSA artefacts including:
○ Logical Architecture
○ Target Azure Reference Architecture
○ Integration Architecture
○ Security Architecture
○ Data Migration Architecture
Define AWS → Azure service mapping patterns, including:
○ Lambda → Azure Functions
○ DynamoDB → Cosmos DB
○ Step Functions → Durable Functions
○ EventBridge/SNS/SQS → Event Grid / Service Bus
○ API Gateway → Azure API Management
LangChain, LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, Python & Java.
