Senior Java Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer role with fully remote working mode to drive the implementation and integration of order management system (OMS) capabilities. You’ll drive the implementation of order management functionality, supporting complex integrations with eCommerce, marketplace, warehouse, fulfillment, ERP and other systems.
This position offers hybrid setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Montenegro, whether it's your home or our dynamic offices in Herceg-Novi and Podgorica.
Responsibilities
Implement OMS and order lifecycle management features
Integrate REST/API-based solutions with eCommerce, warehouse, marketplace, ERP, and other systems
Develop order fulfillment, inventory, returns, and refund processes
Address regional business and fulfillment requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues
Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Strong Java development experience
Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
Experience with microservices and distributed systems
Solid SQL and relational database knowledge
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Experience with order management, commerce, or other complex transactional systems
Experience with Fluent OMS or comparable OMS/order-management platforms
Nice to have
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) integration experience
Experience with warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics integrations
Experience with marketplaces or marketplace integrators
Experience with inventory, order fulfillment, returns, and refund processes
Experience with SAP or ERP integrations
Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging (Kafka or similar)
Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
Experience in international or multi-region eCommerce implementations
