Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Senior Accountant will oversee periodic audits, coordinate with external auditors and consultants, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. The role also includes collaborating with management to provide financial insights, improving reporting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Knowledge of tax laws, compliance requirements, and audit processes applicable to corporate entities.
Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills.
Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and present insights to management.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, preferably within trading, retail, or related industries.
