Cloud Architect

Role Description The Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions that support the company’s real estate platforms and internal systems. This part-time remote role involves defining cloud architectures, selecting appropriate services, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure across environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product and development teams, guiding integration between on-premises and cloud systems, and documenting architectural standards and best practices. The Cloud Architect will also monitor performance, recommend improvements, and support incident resolution and change management related to cloud services.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Solution Architecture and Architecture, with the ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud ecosystems.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Infrastructure, including cloud networking, storage, compute, and security controls.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Development to support automation, infrastructure as code, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Candidates should possess Integration skills to connect cloud services with on-premises systems, third-party APIs, and data platforms.
Experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related certification is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (such as Python, PowerShell, or similar) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
