Role Description The Maintenance Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in Jabalpur, responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within the facility or project site. The role involves planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment, machinery, and utilities to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Incharge monitors the condition of assets, coordinates with technicians and vendors, and ensures timely repairs and servicing. Daily tasks include tracking maintenance logs, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and company procedures. The role also requires identifying improvement areas, preparing basic maintenance reports, and supporting management with updates on asset health and operational risks.
Qualifications
Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or civil maintenance systems and equipment.
Ability to plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Good organizational and documentation skills for maintaining maintenance records and reports.
Effective communication and coordination skills for working with technicians, contractors, and management.
Experience in industrial, construction, or facility maintenance supervision is preferred.
Diploma or degree in engineering, maintenance, or a related technical field is beneficial.
Willingness to work on-site in Jabalpur and manage maintenance activities during peak operational hours.
