About Us
Enchanted Echoes is an emerging creative writing community focused on storytelling, imagination, and bringing original fictional worlds to life.
I am an independent aspiring author writing under the pen name Prince Author, seeking a passionate and imaginative co-author to collaborate on original novels.
Our projects will explore genres including medieval fantasy, science fiction, dystopian fiction, romance, slice of life, action, adventure, and dark fantasy.
Position Overview
I am looking for more than someone who can simply write chapters. I want a creative partner who can contribute original ideas, offer constructive criticism, and help develop compelling stories.
I will serve as the Lead Author, establishing the overall vision and guiding the direction of each project. However, my co-author will be encouraged to share their opinions, suggest changes, and actively participate in creative decisions.
I believe a successful partnership requires mutual respect, open communication, and a shared passion for storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on original novels and fictional universes.
- Write, edit, and revise chapters.
- Develop characters, relationships, conflicts, and storylines.
- Contribute creative ideas, plot twists, and worldbuilding.
- Provide honest feedback and suggest improvements.
- Participate in creative discussions and brainstorming.
- Help develop story outlines and long-term narrative arcs.
- Maintain consistency in character development and established lore.
Qualifications
- Passion for fiction and creative storytelling.
- Strong imagination and originality.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Willingness to provide and receive constructive criticism.
- Reliability and commitment to agreed writing goals.
No professional publication experience required. Aspiring authors and self-taught creative writers are welcome.
Compensation & Partnership
This is a royalty-sharing creative partnership, not a traditional salaried job.
There is no guaranteed hourly wage, project fee, or upfront payment.
The intended arrangement is an equal 50/50 split of net royalty proceeds from novels written and published together. Earnings are dependent on future book sales and are not guaranteed.
Before collaborative writing begins, both parties will sign an agreement establishing authorship credit, copyright ownership, creative responsibilities, publishing rights, royalty calculations, and distribution of earnings.
