Web Designer

At Phro, we design and develop end-to-end websites for a diverse portfolio of clients, from emerging brands and startups to established businesses.
We’re looking for a Website Designer who understands both the visual and functional aspects of web design. Someone who can translate briefs into thoughtful digital experiences, work confidently in Figma, and collaborate with clients and developers to take a website from concept to completion.
What you’ll be doing
Design website layouts, landing pages, and complete website experiences in Figma.
Translate brand guidelines, business requirements, and creative briefs into intuitive, visually engaging interfaces.
Create wireframes, page structures, and high-fidelity UI designs.
Build and maintain organised Figma files with reusable components, styles, and design systems.
Design responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Coordinate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and address design-related queries during development.
Communicate with clients to understand requirements, present design directions, incorporate feedback, and manage revisions.
Review developed websites and provide feedback to ensure the final output aligns with the approved designs.
What we’re looking for
Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variants, and prototyping.
A solid understanding of website structures, information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and layout.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and how websites adapt across screen sizes.
An understanding of design systems and how to create consistent, scalable website interfaces.
The ability to communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Strong attention to detail, ownership of deliverables, and the ability to manage multiple projects and feedback cycles.
Good to have: Familiarity with WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify, and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS to support smoother collaboration with developers.
