Senior Procurement Manager – Marketing Resources Procurement

Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Manager with deep expertise in marketing resources procurement to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for our dynamic organization. The core mandate of this role is to drive cost optimization, foster supplier innovation, and ensure seamless execution of high-impact marketing campaigns across events, IP partnerships, talent collaborations, and media placements.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for marketing resources, encompassing events, IP/cross-industry partnerships, celebrity/KOL engagements, and media buying.
· Optimize supplier relationships, negotiate contractual terms, and ensure procurement activities align with brand objectives and budgetary targets.
Category Expertise
· Oversee full lifecycle procurement management for marketing categories, from market analysis and RFx processes to supplier onboarding and performance evaluation.
· Stay abreast of industry trends (e.g., digital media evolution, influencer marketing) to identify emerging opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Creative teams to ensure procurement activities align with marketing cadence and support business objectives.
· Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on supplier capabilities, cost benchmarking, and risk management.
Cost and Process Optimization
· Drive cost efficiency and operational effectiveness while maintaining quality standards, leveraging volume-based discounts and innovative procurement models.
· Champion best practices to streamline procurement processes and enhance compliance.
Supplier Governance
· Lead supplier evaluations, audits, and contract negotiations to ensure suppliers adhere to ethical standards, embrace sustainable practices, and deliver tangible value.
Qualifications
Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of procurement/sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic sourcing capacity.
· Over 2 years of specialized experience in marketing resources procurement (events, IP/partnerships, celebrity/KOL, media, etc.); demonstrated track record of leading high-value, high-complexity marketing projects with verifiable outstanding results.
Skills
· Proficient in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and spend analysis; in-depth understanding of the marketing ecosystem, including digital media platforms and influencer networks.
Education
· Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
