Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in Chengalpattu in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems for projects and client facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and layouts; performing load calculations; and assisting in power distribution and system planning. The role involves coordinating with project teams, vendors, and technicians to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements. The Electrical Engineer will also troubleshoot electrical issues, support testing and commissioning activities, and prepare technical documentation, reports, and recommendations to improve system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to practical project work.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including preparing and interpreting drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load analysis, protection, and system optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Ability to read and apply relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Hands-on experience with installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems is beneficial.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
