Role Description This is a full-time remote Software Tester Intern role. The intern will support the testing of web and software applications by executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting defects in a clear and structured manner. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with developers and product team members, reviewing requirements and user stories, and helping design basic test scenarios to validate new features and changes. The intern will assist in regression testing, participate in quality assurance activities, and contribute to improving test documentation and test processes. This role offers hands-on experience with modern testing practices and an opportunity to learn from experienced software professionals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with an understanding of basic testing concepts and workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and working with Test Cases, including creating, running, and documenting tests.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to identify issues, interpret results, and suggest improvements.
Basic familiarity with software development processes (e.g., Agile or Scrum) and version control tools is beneficial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in building a career in software quality assurance and willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.
