Davis Tech Pro helps defense contractors and growing businesses secure their Microsoft environments and meet CMMC compliance requirements.
The role
We’re looking for polished, outgoing professionals to represent Davis Tech Pro at defense-industry conferences in South Florida, starting with an event in Fort Lauderdale this December.
You won’t sell or answer technical questions. Your job is to start good conversations, find out which businesses need help with CMMC compliance, and set up short introductory calls with our founder.
What you’ll do
• Attend the event in company-branded attire
• Introduce Davis Tech Pro and ask a few simple qualifying questions
• Collect contact details and book 15-minute follow-up calls
• Send us your leads with brief notes after the event
• Join two short prep calls beforehand so you know exactly what to say
Who we’re looking for
• Experience in B2B sales, trade shows, event staffing, or another professional, client-facing role
• Comfortable starting conversations with business owners and executives
• Reliable, polished, and professional
• Based in South Florida
• US person (our clients work with sensitive government contracts)
A big plus
• Experience in, or connections to, the defense industry — contractors, manufacturers, or government
• Military or military-family background
• Experience in manufacturing or technology
The details
• Independent contractor, paid per event
• $300 per event day + bonuses
• We cover your conference badge, provide branded attire, + per diem is included
• Ongoing opportunities at future events in the area
