Role Description The Project Architect role at INK Architecture is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Project Architect will lead the design and coordination of architectural projects from concept through construction documentation, ensuring alignment with client requirements, building codes, and sustainability goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing drawings and specifications, reviewing submittals, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and managing project timelines and deliverables. The role involves close collaboration with interior design and urban planning teams, integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into the workflow to maintain accurate and up-to-date project information. The Project Architect is expected to participate in design reviews, support LEED and other sustainable design initiatives, and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency across projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Architecture skills, including design development, construction documentation, and knowledge of building codes and standards.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including scheduling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and oversight of project deliverables.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows to develop, manage, and coordinate digital project models.
Candidates should possess experience with Submittals, including review, tracking, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or comparable sustainable design frameworks.
Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams on-site in Bengaluru.
Candidates should possess a professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) and relevant experience as a Project Architect or in a similar role.
Candidates should possess proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent BIM platforms, and visualization tools), with attention to detail and quality.
