Role Description The Field Services Engineer role at Emkay Agro Industries is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves visiting customer locations to install, commission, and maintain agro-related machinery, equipment, or processing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing troubleshooting and diagnostics, conducting preventive maintenance, and providing technical support and training to customers and operators. The Field Services Engineer will document service activities, prepare reports, coordinate with internal teams for spare parts and upgrades, and ensure safe work practices. This role requires regular interaction with customers to understand their needs, resolve issues promptly, and build long-term, service-focused relationships.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Field Service skills, including on-site installation, commissioning, and equipment servicing.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to plan and execute regular inspections and upkeep of equipment.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain professional relationships.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field is preferred.
Hands-on experience with industrial or agro-processing equipment and basic understanding of safety standards is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in the field, manage schedules, and maintain accurate service documentation.
Willingness to travel to customer sites within the region and flexibility to respond to urgent service requirements.
