Role Description The Logistics Executive role is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru. The role involves coordinating daily export and import shipments, including booking cargo space, preparing documentation, and tracking consignments from origin to destination. Responsibilities include liaising with shipping lines, transporters, customs agents, and overseas partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations. The Logistics Executive will update internal systems, share shipment status with clients, resolve operational issues, and support the team with rate quotations and scheduling. The role requires careful attention to detail, consistent follow-up, and proactive communication to maintain smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications
Strong logistics and operations skills, including shipment coordination, documentation handling, and basic understanding of export/import procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and overseas partners, and maintain professional relationships.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic logistics software or ERP tools for data entry, tracking, and reporting.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills to handle delays, exceptions, and day-to-day operational issues.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in freight forwarding is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment in Bengaluru and collaborate effectively within a team.
