Role Description This is a full-time, non-paid PHP and React Web Developer Intern role based in Bengaluru, offered in a hybrid model with a mix of onsite work and some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP for back-end services and React for front-end interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, debugging issues, integrating APIs, and supporting the implementation of new features. The intern will collaborate with senior developers, participate in code reviews, and help document technical specifications and workflows. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in web development, version control, and basic software engineering processes.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Programming and Software Development concepts, with the ability to apply them to real-world projects.
Understanding of Back-End Web Development using PHP or similar technologies, including basic server-side logic and database interactions.
Exposure to Front-End Development, preferably with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building user interfaces.
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in modern web development.
Basic knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience.
Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and work effectively in a hybrid team environment based in Bengaluru.
Good problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication in English.
