About the Role
Labofab India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our execution team. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision, coordinating labor, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring project execution strictly aligns with engineered drawings and schedules.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Drawing Interpretation & Execution:
Read, interpret, and identify details across structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and MEP drawings on-site.
Ensure on-site work strictly adheres to approved design drawings and technical specifications.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) tracking on-site milestones and labor deployment.
Track material usage, inventory, and site activity logs.
Project Execution & Schedule Adherence:
Follow the baseline project plan, milestones, and work breakdown schedules provided by the Project Manager.
Coordinate daily site tasks to meet targeted deadlines and quality standards.
Client Facing & Workforce Management:
Act as a key on-site point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Effectively manage site labor, subcontractors, and tradespeople to optimize daily output and resolve work bottlenecks.
Site Safety & Quality Control:
Understand, enforce, and maintain strict site safety compliance, standard safety protocols, and PPE compliance across all workers and visitors.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure workmanship satisfies project standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in site engineering, project execution, or construction supervision.
Technical & Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and verifying site layouts.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Intermediate Excel (for progress tracking, reporting, and data entry).
Communication & Presentation:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills for internal reviews and client interactions.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
